Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field
10+ years of experience with ERP or transactional systems in manufacturing
Demonstrated success as a project or team leader
Experience with: Oracle E‑Business Suite (Workflow, Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, XML/BI Publisher)
Oracle Fusion Cloud
Salesforce CRM/CPQ
Microsoft Power BI
Workato
Snowflake
Strong project management skills
Outstanding organization, communication, and analytical abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with minimal supervision
Ability to handle differing opinions and resolve conflict professionally while upholding The Placon Way

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver transformational and continuous‑improvement IT projects, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget execution
Manage, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Applications Team (Systems Analysts, Business Analysts, Application Developers)
Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and ensure systems and processes support company strategy
Oversee project planning, scope definition, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets
Track deliverables, communicate progress, and present updates, risks, and solutions to stakeholders
Ensure high‑quality design, development, and maintenance of enterprise software and applications
Manage the IT project portfolio, balancing short‑ and long‑term initiatives and evaluating new opportunities
Support completion of IT‑related Major Objectives (goals) and provide recommendations to decision‑makers
Research and evaluate new ERP, application, and business‑solution technologies to improve efficiency
Review vendor offerings, attend demos/webinars, and contribute to the strategic IT roadmap
