About The Position

This position is for an Applications Manager in User Services. Applicants must have a high school graduation or equivalent, and specific years of experience in developing large computer applications using high-level programming languages. A supervisory role is also required. Educational alternatives include an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, which can reduce the required years of experience. A valid Nevada driver's license and current driving history are also mandatory.

Requirements

• High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., General Educational Development (GED), foreign equivalency, etc.).
• 12 years’ experience developing large computer applications using high-level programming languages, including four (4) years in a supervisory role; or, Associate degree from an accredited college/university in a related field (i.e., mathematics, computer science, management information systems), and eight (8) years’ experience as described above; or, Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in a related field, and six (6) years’ experience as described above.
• A valid driver’s license that allows the applicant/employee to legally operate a motor vehicle in Nevada. The license must be maintained for the duration of the assignment.
• Current driving history (dated within six [6] months from the date printed) issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at the time of application or Qualified Selection Pool (QSP) placement and at the time of interview prior to final selection.
