About The Position

This Applications Engineering Intern position at NXP Semiconductors N.V. involves supporting the evaluation and testing of NXP reference designs and evaluation modules (EVMs). Key tasks include writing automatic scripts, porting software from Windows to various OS and SoC platforms, assisting with PCB board rework and maintenance, and participating in lab experiments, measurements, and hardware prototype validation. The intern will also contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting enhancements to tools, processes, and workflows, and will be responsible for documenting procedures and generating test reports. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with basic circuit design, programming languages (Python, C/C++).
  • Hands-on skills in using soldering and lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, multimeters).
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from experienced engineers.

Responsibilities
