About The Position
Better Engineering Mfg, Inc. is seeking a full-time Applications Engineer to generate quotations for custom machinery. The company is a privately owned, ISO9001-certified manufacturer of industrial parts washing machinery, founded in 1960, with a consistent record of growth. The position is based in connection with the company’s new facility in Joppa, Maryland. Candidates should value teamwork and leadership and demonstrate a strong work ethic. The role offers a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off, and overtime opportunities.
Requirements
- Live within a 45-minute commute of Joppa, Maryland.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience with solid modeling; SolidWorks preferred.
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Teamwork and leadership are paramount; demonstrate a strong work ethic.

- Experience with SolidWorks.
