About The Position
Better Engineering Mfg, Inc., a privately owned, ISO9001-certified manufacturer of industrial parts washing machinery, is hiring a full-time Applications Engineer to generate quotations for custom machinery. The company has a record of consistent growth and is moving into a new state-of-the-art facility in Joppa, Maryland. Candidates are expected to value teamwork and leadership and demonstrate a strong work ethic. The role offers a 9/80 work schedule, with every other Friday off, and overtime opportunities. The company also describes its work environment as great and notes that the facility is a brand-new building.
Requirements
- Live within a 45-minute commute of Joppa, Maryland.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
- At least 2 years of experience with solid modeling; SolidWorks is preferred.
- Basic math and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Value teamwork and leadership and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

- Experience with SolidWorks.
