Braun Industries is seeking an Applications Engineer for their 1st Shift. This role is responsible for the technical review of work orders, clarifying feature options, and supporting customer/dealer order processing. The Applications Engineer will also create and review proposal and order drawings. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CAD experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Complete all work as detailed in the summary of responsibilities of this position profile at acceptable productivity and quality levels
  • Demonstrate all technical skills/competencies and core skills as referenced in this job specification at acceptable productivity and quality levels
  • Demonstrate reasonable and reliable attendance
  • Maintain any required licensures and/or certifications
  • Operate all job-related equipment or machines at acceptable productivity and quality levels
  • Successfully pass a post offer drug test, as well as random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug and alcohol test thereafter

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 5 years experience with Braun Ambulance production and/or design preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates work orders with engineering and manufacturing for design and feature options, change orders and other technical related questions or problems.
  • Provides a communication link between customers/dealers with engineering and manufacturing to facilitate order processing and vehicle production.
  • Serves as technical liaison with the Sales Managers and Dealers.
  • Provides technical information to the internal and external Sales Team.
  • Develop and maintain specification line drawings for model year standard vehicles.
  • Create and edit proposal, bid and order drawings to support sales and production.
  • Research previous vehicle purchases for matching information and comparisons.
  • Assist in the quoting of material and labor pricing.
  • Participates in team in the analysis and decisions relating to product line additions and deletions, optional feature selections, standard specification and product/market review.
  • Knowledge of Bill of Materials and Routings.
