About The Position

SiTime is hiring an Applications Engineer to help customers use its PLL-based timing products. The role involves collecting laboratory data using SiTime PLL devices and sharing data and configurations with customers. The candidate should understand Python for lab automation and be familiar with general lab measurement techniques and common bench equipment. A related bachelor’s or master’s degree with relevant knowledge is required.

Requirements

• Understand Python as used for lab automation.
• Be familiar with common lab bench test equipment, including using an oscilloscope to measure timing signals.
• Be able to perform basic PCB soldering rework.
• Have knowledge of basic PLL theory.
• Have English proficiency sufficient to communicate, collaborate, and perform job responsibilities in a professional business environment.
• Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field with knowledge related to the position.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of common schematic capture tools for design and design reviews.
• Understanding of common differential termination schemes for clock signals.
• Experience with customer support in a technical environment.
