GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a curious and innovative Applications Chemist to join our R&D team and help develop next-generation cleaning solutions and materials technologies for residential appliances. This role will focus on evaluating and optimizing detergents, rinse aids, fabric care additives, and other consumable products that interact with our appliances. The position will also support the evaluation of coatings, finishes, and material technologies that contribute to product durability and appearance. The ideal candidate has foundational knowledge in chemistry, surfactants, materials, or formulation science, inorganic and organic coating technologies, and is excited to apply scientific principles to real-world consumer products. This role will combine chemistry, experimentation, and product development to improve the consumer experience through better cleaning performance, material durability, and innovative appliance coating technologies. You will have the opportunity to learn across multiple technical disciplines while working closely with engineering, materials, and product development teams to develop industry-leading coatings and cleaning solutions for our consumers.
