About The Position

The Application Developer Architect III is an individual contributor who designs, develops, and optimizes scalable, secure, high-performing applications across on-premises and cloud environments. The role leads complex development initiatives, contributes to architectural decisions, and promotes engineering best practices. It partners with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and technical peers to translate business requirements into resilient technical solutions that improve customer experience, system reliability, and software delivery. The position uses modern DevOps practices and AI-enabled development tools to improve productivity, testing, deployment, and software quality. The role has a primary focus on Marketing Technology, supporting customer-facing digital experiences and the applications, platforms, and integrations used for marketing execution, personalization, analytics, and ongoing optimization. The position also supports marketing platforms, customer engagement, and campaign execution.

Requirements

6–8+ years of progressive experience in application development.
Experience designing and deploying enterprise applications in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Experience contributing to architectural design for multi-tier or distributed systems.
Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
Experience applying secure coding practices and performance optimization techniques.
Experience mentoring developers and guiding technical execution.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
Experience using AI-enabled development tools to enhance productivity and release efficiency.
Strong proficiency in modern development frameworks such as Node.js, .NET, React, or similar stacks.
Experience with RESTful APIs, OAuth, JSON, and service-oriented architecture principles.
Experience with cloud development, CI/CD pipeline implementation, DevOps practices, and Git or other version control systems.
Knowledge of application security, including authentication, authorization, and encryption.
Experience with performance tuning and application monitoring/observability.
Knowledge of data modeling fundamentals.
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Collaborative team orientation and a mentorship and capability-building mindset.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance complex application functionality in cloud and on-premises environments.

Support monitoring, observability, and production stability of deployed solutions.
Use AI-assisted development tools to improve code quality, accelerate development, and enhance testing coverage.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and engineering practices.
Design and support applications and integrations for marketing platforms, customer engagement, campaign execution, and customer-facing digital experiences.
