About The Position

Higher Frog Ltd is seeking an OpenText/Application Workflow Subject Matter Expert for a large OpenText implementation supporting a US Government project. This is a full-time contracting role that pays up to $140 USD per hour, with an anticipated start in December or January. The role is hybrid and primarily remote, with occasional meetings in Washington, DC. Applicants must live within commuting distance of DC and be willing and able to attend required onsite meetings with as little as two hours’ notice. The position is open only to US citizens who already hold, or are willing to obtain, US Government security clearance.

The SME will provide expertise on OpenText AppWorks and Content Server, advise the client on effective product use, assess existing workflows and new capabilities, recommend modernization, and guide architecture, integration, and development decisions.

Requirements

• US citizenship.
• Existing US Government security clearance or willingness to obtain it.
• CompTIA Security+ certification.
• At least 10 years of secure ECM experience in Health IT environments or projects.
• At least 5 years of CMS/BPM experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Must be based within commuting distance of Washington, DC and able and willing to attend required onsite meetings with two hours’ notice.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree preferred.
• OpenText Content Server certification highly recommended.
• OpenText AppWorks certification highly recommended.
• Experience with large-scale OpenText implementations highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in OpenText AppWorks and Content Server implementation best practices.
• Advise the client on effective use of OpenText products.
• Evaluate existing application workflows.
• Recommend workflow improvements and modernization.
• Assess new OpenText capabilities.
• Support and guide architecture and integration decisions.
• Advise on Content Server customization and API integrations.
• Provide technical guidance to development teams.
