About The Position

The Application Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring that application systems are stable, secure, and optimized to meet business needs. The goal is to deliver high-quality, well-documented, and sustainable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1–3 years of experience in information technology or a related role
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, client-server environments, and application development
  • Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems and network administration
  • Experience with application development tools and general IT infrastructure

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a distribution and/or sales environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide system-level support for multi-user operating systems, software, hardware, and networks.
  • Analyze, maintain, and enhance programming systems supporting business applications.
  • Gather and define business requirements and design solutions aligned to user needs.
  • Apply advanced troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues with minimal supervision.
  • Test, debug, document, and implement new or modified applications and systems.
  • Support system performance, reliability, and issue resolution across the organization.
  • Participate in cross-functional efforts to ensure technology supports operational goals.
  • Maintain flexibility to support business needs, including occasional schedule adjustments.
  • Evaluate and recommend short- and long-term technology solutions aligned with company strategy.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within IT and across the business.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build strong working relationships across departments.
  • Contribute positively to a team-oriented environment while also working independently.
