About The Position

The Application Support & QA Specialist is responsible for providing end-user support for ERP systems and other business applications across multiple manufacturing facilities. The role also supports the testing and deployment of reports, applications, and scripts, while collaborating with the ERP & Development team and system architects.

Requirements

  • Strong technical aptitude with attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical audience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience working with Windows client and server environments
  • Working knowledge of relational databases (ability to query and perform updates)
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Infor, Dynamics, SAP) is considered an asset
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of object-oriented design is an asset
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as SSRS is an asset
  • Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, including database objects (tables, views, triggers, stored procedures), is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-user support for ERP systems and other business applications
  • Log, track, and manage all support requests within the ticketing system
  • Train end users on current and newly implemented systems and processes
  • Maintain and update documentation for common support issues and resolutions
  • Test and deploy reports, applications, and scripts as required
  • Participate in business project meetings related to implementing new systems or modules
  • Collaborate with system architects and IT team members to review and provide feedback on design documentation from a support perspective
  • Assist in ensuring smooth system functionality across multiple manufacturing facilities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to systems and processes.
