About The Position

Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient- centered clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations. Under the general direction of the Manager, Solution Support, the Application Support Analyst II will be responsible for and play a technical expertise role in the support of various solutions of varying complexities.

Requirements

3+ years related technical experience within an application support environment.
Advanced knowledge of Citrix application hosting technologies.
Intermediate knowledge/experience of SQL scripting language and database management.
Ability to work with web-based applications and have a familiarity with web-browsers.
Good understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
A post-secondary degree/diploma in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or related field.
An equivalent combination of relevant training and experience may be considered.
Requires a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
Demonstrated leadership capabilities at the staff level.
A current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred.
A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
An employee is not permitted to hold two or more positions in Shared Health that combine to equal more than 1.0 FTE.
