About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking an Application Production Support Analyst for a 12-month contract with a global financial institution in Charlotte, North Carolina. The role provides Level 3 production and technical support for critical payment-processing applications. The analyst monitors application health, investigates and resolves incidents, and works with technology teams to maintain platform stability and restore services. Candidates must be available to work directly as Genesis10 employees.

Requirements

5–7 years of production or technical support experience.
Experience with incident and problem management.
Proficiency with Linux/Unix.
Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
Experience with REST/SOAP services.
Hands-on experience with Splunk and Dynatrace monitoring.
Familiarity with application messaging/MQ.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to support releases and recovery activities.
Must be available and ready to work directly as a Genesis10 employee.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Containers, Mule ESB, WebSphere MQ, and Spring-based services.
Understanding of payment-message flows.
Knowledge of automation or scripting.
Experience with capacity monitoring.
Experience in a follow-the-sun support model.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 3 production and technical support.
Monitor application health and payment processing.
Investigate and resolve incidents and perform transaction recovery.
Support releases and infrastructure maintenance.
Coordinate global shift handoffs and maintain operational procedures.
Partner with application, middleware, database, and operations teams to restore service and improve platform stability.
