About The Position

This role serves as the technical liaison for raving fans and highly valued customers by translating customer drawings, specification, and RFQs into product solutions that meet customer and business needs. The Application Engineer will coordinate expertise and recommend solutions from cross-functional teams to application and performance inquiries from customers related to Induction and EC motor applications in the Commercial motors field. They will interact with the sales team and sophisticated customers on applications to translate customer requirements to product specifications/designs and provide valued Techno commercial proposals. This role also helps resolve product issues at the customer and in the field by working with the customer and field sales team. Additionally, the Application Engineer will provide inputs to product engineering and New Product Development teams on Commercial motors applications and customer requirements to design and/or improve products considering manufacturability, quality, reliability, and cost. They will lead in capturing the voice of the customer and the development of product specifications, and translate customer needs to manufacturing requirements, coordinating testing and qualification of products in customer applications.

Requirements

Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience
Skilled in organizing, prioritizing, and coordinating working relationships with all levels of personnel within and outside the organization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, strong customer-focused behavior.
Ability to interpret customer specifications and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system.
1+ years engineering experience in a field sales, customer support or design, manufacturing environment in equipment manufacturing industry providing techno-commercial offers to field sales and customers.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
