Application Engineer
About The Position
As part of the Secure the Enterprise initiative, this role supports the transition from manual system security evaluation and authorization processes to a modern, automated framework. The position emphasizes streamlined workflows and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and comprehensive data collection across the full lifecycle of a project. The Application Engineer (UI) is responsible for the development, testing, deployment, and sustainment of modern web-based applications. This role focuses on building dynamic, single-page application (SPA) dashboards using Angular 14 or higher, enabling seamless interaction with RESTful endpoints to request, receive, and visualize data for end users. The Application Engineer (UI) also contributes to the design process by creating mockups and prototypes for new features, ensuring intuitive and effective user experiences while supporting ongoing system enhancements.
Requirements
- Experienced with using TypeScript JavaScript language
- UI Technical Leadership required
- Experienced in using Angular Framework to develop user interfaces
- Experienced with analyzing json data structure when working with the ReST
- Experienced with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) to enhance the look and feel of user interfaces
- A CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field (or HS & 4 additional yrs experience or Masters Degree & 2 less yrs experience). 8 years similar software/engineering experience
