Application Engineer

About The Position

Keysight Technologies is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Application Engineer to engage with channel teams and customers to grow its power and general-purpose products portfolio. The role works with key customers to understand their application and test requirements and collaborates with a team to provide presales technical and application expertise. It also creates application content to support digital demand-generation initiatives and increase awareness and preference for power and general-purpose products.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline.
At least 5 years of experience.
Knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB.
Familiarity with Keysight power products and general-purpose measurement products, including DC power supplies, AC sources, electronic loads, DMMs, function/arbitrary waveform generation, and data acquisition systems.
Experience creating application notes, technical demonstrations, training materials, or customer presentations.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop technical presentations, application notes, webinars, example code, and demonstrations.
Deliver technical presentations and training to customers, sales engineers, and internal teams.
Provide technical guidance on product capabilities, specifications, and performance tradeoffs.
Troubleshoot instrument, measurement, and software issues.
Work with customers and field teams to understand test requirements and recommend appropriate instruments, configurations, and measurement methods.
