About The Position

Team Credo is looking for a High-Speed Transceiver Application Engineer to join our mission to transform connectivity at scale. This role will play a critical role in advancing semiconductor technologies through innovative design, development, and testing. Our high-speed copper and optical interconnect products deliver industry-leading power and performance at up to 1.6T to meet the ever-expanding data infrastructure demands of AI. Our product portfolio includes ZeroFlap (ZF) Active Electrical Cables (AECs) and ZF optical transceivers, OmniConnect memory solutions, and a suite of retimers and DSPs for optical and copper Ethernet and PCIe, all leveraging the PILOT diagnostic and analytics software platform. Credo innovations enable our customers to connect the systems that connect the world.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Physics, or related field.
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed transceivers such as QSFP-DD, OSFP, AEC, and related lab instruments (e.g., oscilloscope, BERT and VNA).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
  • Passion for high-speed signaling, system-level validation, and continuous learning.
  • Familiarity with DSP architecture and ability to write bring-up and tuning code.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for system-level tests including functional regression coverage and performance validation across protocol and use-case scenarios.
  • Build automation scripts for test execution, data collection, and analysis using Python or other programming languages.
  • Conduct environmental and reliability stress testing, including thermal cycling, voltage margining, and soak tests.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive resolution in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Support platform bring-up, firmware validation, and vendor qualification for high-speed modules.
  • Contribute to DSP bring-up and tuning, including writing low-level code for signal processing and link optimization.
  • Debug signal integrity and link performance issues using VNA, BERT and oscilloscope.
