About The Position

Supermicro is seeking a talented and passionate Application Engineer with expertise in software solutions, particularly in remote management products. You will be responsible for providing software solutions and support to our enterprise customers, as well as promoting Supermicro’s software products to deliver optimized end-to-end solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in software products and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with all levels of management and staff.

Requirements

• Knowledge and skill on Python programming
• Working independently and able to research and solve problems
• Strong organizational and well-developed social skills
• Excellent telephone etiquette skills and on-site support skills

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in automated testing is preferred
• 2+ years of working / technical support experience in computer systems and/or servers is a plus
• Highly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player is a plus
• Excellent knowledge of Server / Workstation GPU products is a plus
• Strong communication skill in both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service and support to resolve customer concerns and issues
• Develop automation solutions for software and GPU systems
• Research and evaluate new features in Supermicro software products
• Maintain and update software specifications
• Build and maintain a knowledge base for software products
• Collaborate with software teams to design and implement new features
