About The Position

As an Application Engineer Texture and Extrusion, you will provide sales support including feasibility studies, and resolve customer application questions for product lines including texture analysis and extrusion within the Eastern region. You will report to the Business Unit Sales Manager. This position is based at the US Headquarters in Ashland, Virginia.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in texture analysis, mixing, extrusion, or related methods.
Exceptional communications skills (written, oral, and presentation) for interactions with clients ranging from Quality Control Technicians to University Professors and CEOs.
Ability to work independently and with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science.
Valid driver's license and passport.

Responsibilities

Conducting, evaluating, and presenting feasibility studies (sample measurements).
Installations, training, and technical support.
Interpreting data and troubleshooting issues.
Participating in conferences and trade shows.
Travel (up to 50%, including overnight) e.g. for trainings, demonstrations, and installations.
