About The Position

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software
development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support,
and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will
work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional
specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action
and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 +
bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and
additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant
education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary
range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience working with Java.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of relevant work experience in business application development or implementation.
• Experience implementing, customizing or integrating third-party applications within business enterprise software.
• Knowledge of software implementation lifecycle (e.g., analyze, design, build, test, implement, support).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to define and implement solutions that improve internal business processes.
• Identify, assess, estimate, and solve complex business challenges, where analysis of situations, scenarios or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors including security.
• Develop, build, and deploy applications using various platforms and technologies. Work closely with analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Maintain highest levels of development practices including: technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation or execution, issue identification and resolution, writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code.
