Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in applications engineering, ideally within industrial or water process environments
  • Hands-on experience with industry equipment and system design
  • Ability to perform process calculations and water quality projections
  • Strong understanding of equipment platforms, components, and system integration
  • Proven ability to manage complex work with minimal oversight
  • Solid grasp of sales processes, proposal development, and costing strategies
  • Working knowledge of contracts, risk mitigation, and financial principles
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting technical solutions to customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical solutioning for medium to highly complex customer projects
  • Translate customer requirements into optimized process designs and equipment selections
  • Perform calculations and analysis to validate system performance and feasibility
  • Develop cost estimates and detailed proposals that align with customer needs and business goals
  • Collaborate with Sales to win projects through compelling technical solutions
  • Work with drafters to produce application drawings and documentation
  • Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Identify and manage technical and commercial risks within proposals
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing across the team
