Application Engineer II
About The Position
The Application Engineer II provides technical support for commercial refrigeration equipment, including commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance across a broad portfolio of products and solutions. This role supports outside sales teams, customers, and end users by providing expert pre- and post-sales refrigeration application support. Responsibilities include product selection, quotation assistance, system configuration, and troubleshooting of both standard and complex refrigeration systems. The role ensures customers receive exceptional support while contributing to the successful application of products. There are also opportunities to collaborate with industry-leading engineers on product and software development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year related experience.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong math and mechanical knowledge.
- Substantial knowledge of calculations required for correctly applying equipment and equipment integration.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers in the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and operation of refrigeration products.
- Deliver training to sales teams and customers on product features, applications, and best practices.
- Develop customer-specific programming and parameter settings for custom applications as needed.
- Assist with product selection, application guidance, and resolution of technical issues.
- Support cross-functional teams in driving product improvements and customer success.
