Application Engineer II
About The Position
The Application Engineer II provides technical support for commercial refrigeration equipment, including commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance across our broad portfolio of products and solutions. Our team plays a key role in supporting outside sales teams, customers, and end users by providing expert pre- and post-sales refrigeration application support. Responsibilities include product selection, quotation assistance, system configuration, and troubleshooting of both standard and complex refrigeration systems. In this role, you will help ensure customers receive exceptional support while contributing to the successful application of our products. You will also have opportunities to collaborate with industry-leading engineers on both product and software development initiatives.
Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 1 year related experience.
- Excellent customer service skills, strong math and mechanical knowledge.
- Has substantial knowledge of calculations required for correctly applying equipment and equipment integration.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to use Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to customers in the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and operation of refrigeration products.
- Deliver training to sales teams and customers on product features, applications, and best practices.
- Develop customer-specific programming and parameter settings for custom applications as needed.
- Assist with product selection, application guidance, and resolution of technical issues.
- Support cross-functional teams in driving product improvements and customer success.
