Application Engineer - Data Management
About The Position
CACI is seeking an Application Engineer to support its Secure the Enterprise initiative. The position will help transform system security evaluation and authorization from a manual approach to a model using automation, streamlined processes and approvals, continuous monitoring and assessment, and comprehensive network data gathering throughout the project lifecycle. The role focuses on developing and maintaining analytics, supporting data intake and review workflows, and ensuring reliable data and day-to-day system operations. The position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately; applicants may also be considered for other CACI positions.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- Strong background in analytics development.
- Proficiency in Pig and PySpark.
- Experience with Piranhas.
- A technical-field degree or diploma from an accredited institution, with the corresponding minimum experience: high school diploma/GED and 10 years; associate's degree and 8 years; bachelor's degree and 6 years; master's degree and 4 years; or doctorate's degree and 2 years.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in patch management and IAVA tracking.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, and Scala.
- Experience with NiFi and Ansible.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute Pig and PySpark analytics.
- Review data ingest tickets and collaborate with team members on merge requests.
- Ensure reliable and accurate data is delivered to end users.
- Ensure the successful operation of day-to-day processes.
- Manage data flow into and out of the system to ensure seamless transitions.
