Application Engineer - Aero Engine
About The Position
Support aerospace engine component manufacturing through process development, tooling design, CNC programming, and customer collaboration. This role utilizes Makino’s advanced milling and grinding platforms, employing 3+2 and simultaneous 5-axis machining techniques. Responsibilities include developing machining processes and NC programs using Siemens NX, designing tooling, fixtures, and dressing rolls, simulating programs in Vericut, executing on Makino platforms, conducting test cuts and machine demonstrations, providing post-sale support and training at customer sites, and documenting project results and process plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in engineering or 2+ years relevant experience.
- OR 5+ years hands-on machining/CNC experience.
- Multi-axis CNC, Fanuc/Makino controls knowledge.
Nice To Haves
- Aerospace and tight-tolerance machining preferred.
Responsibilities
