About The Position
The Application Developer will support technology initiatives for the Register of Voters (ROV) and Facilities and Fleet (FAF) business operations. The role supports, maintains, and enhances IT applications used across these departments and collaborates with Business Systems Analysts and end users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Must be a TSS employee seeking an internal transfer.
- Must be within the 15% Transfer Band.
- Must meet Employment Standards.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the software development life cycle, including adhering to coding standards, conducting code reviews, managing source control, supporting build processes, performing testing, and maintaining operational readiness.
- Oversee the application life cycle by designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application software.
- Develop new programs and perform upgrades, maintenance, and issue resolution for existing systems.
- Resolve technical issues by working directly with customers, vendors, and technical teams to identify and evaluate potential solutions.
