About The Position

MedPro Group is hiring an Application Developer intern for a year-round hybrid internship requiring both remote and on-site work at its Fort Wayne, Indiana office. The ideal candidate would begin working full-time hours in May 2027. The role involves developing and supporting configurations in the Duck Creek Suite, contributing to software development and testing, and supporting products in production. The internship requires 15–20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.

Requirements

• Be at least a sophomore in college pursuing a BS degree.
• Be pursuing a computer science-related major.
• Have experience with XML, XSLT, and XPath.
• Have experience with the C# and .NET programming languages.
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Have excellent organizational, leadership, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to work effectively in a team environment or independently.
• Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Be available year-round for 15–20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.
• Be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship, now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with the Angular frontend framework and JavaScript.
• Experience with SQL database queries and stored procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support the implementation of configurations in Duck Creek Suite (Policy, Billing, Insights).
• Plan, execute, and document unit testing.
• Participate in peer reviews.
• Support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and participate in development sprints.
• Develop and support Proof of Concept (POC) projects as required.
• Provide product support and maintenance for products in production.
• Participate in developing documentation and job aid documents.
