About The Position

Xpressdocs is currently seeking an Entry Level Application Developer to join our Fort Worth-based team. Good Verbal and written communications skills are required for the position. We are willing to train the right candidate. The right candidate for this role is a self-motivated individual who likes solving challenging problems, is a voracious learner, has a ‘best practices’ mindset and believes that teamwork is an essential component to success.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree majoring in a computing field preferred
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, PHP or Java using OOP principles.
Experience with HTML, and CSS.
Client-server programming using REST.
Familiarity with database and SQL.
Familiarity with data structures in JSON and XML
Experience with source control using GIT.
Knowledge of effective testing and debugging practices.
Comfortable using AI to help debug and generate code.
Knowledge of Linux OS and an understanding of how the Internet and its various components work.

Nice To Haves

SCSS is a plus.
Familiarity with frameworks such as ReactJS and Symphony. Wordpress is a plus.
Web sockets are a plus.

Responsibilities

Work on building and supporting Xpressdocs applications.
Follow the Agile process, learning the technologies in use, and building our applications, which range from user-facing web applications, cloud-based automated marketing software, design and customization tools, data integrations with third parties, ecommerce transactions, medium scale data processing, reporting, etc.
Learn and develop your software design, coding, and troubleshooting skills.
Collaborate with Product Owners and Quality Assurance team to coordinate resolution of reported bugs.
