Under limited supervision, the analyst will work with Senior Application Analysts to perform the analysis, design, code, testing, documentation, implementation, modification, and upgrade of agency computer systems supporting Vital Records, BEE, First Sounds and Public Health Statistics & Information Services (PHSIS). This includes integration and monitoring of supporting backend system processes and solutions, documentation, and remediating and solving customer issues. Work in a team environment to implement, maintain and provide technical support for Vital Records and PHSIS specific applications as assigned. Provide technical back-up for other applications as assigned. Ensure systems integrate seamlessly with agency Electronic Document Management System (EDM) and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Adheres to Information Technology application development standards. Assist with integration and monitoring of supporting system processes, stored procedures, and third party solutions. Remediate and solve customer reported issues. Prepare and maintain system documentation for applications supported. Provide appropriate administrative documentation/project communication. Act as technical consultant to customers and work with other technology staff to ensure applications adhere to Information Technology application development standards. Assist with problem resolution and support the IT Service Center by responding to application-related service calls. Other duties as assigned. Employee will work under limited supervision. Must be customer-oriented and respond to priority tasks as needed. Some after-hour and weekend work may be required.
