About The Position

Develops, maintains, and modifies application programs, under supervision, according to program specifications by coding, testing and debugging, and following all aspects of the software development life cycle. Assists in developing work plans and technical documents covering system architecture, conversion, integration, testing, and implementation for a system or complex enhancement to a system. Meets with business customers to gather business requirements according to required specifications. Performs quality assurance testing, under supervision, for application development/modification. Troubleshoots application problems. Writes and executes programs that manipulate data. Reviews technical documents, and user manuals. Installs application software.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • Two (2) years of recent, full-time experience coding, testing, and debugging one or more application systems.
  • A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
