About The Position

Cayenta, a division of Harris, is seeking an Application Consultant passionate about providing IT transformation for clients. This role is part of the Client Services team and requires accounting and work management experience. The individual will act as a liaison between Operations, R&D, and clients, becoming a product expert and client process advisor. This project-driven, remote role supports existing customers and requires approximately 25% travel. Candidates must be legally eligible to travel internationally (US, Canada, Caribbean) and hold a valid passport. The role emphasizes an AI and Innovation Mindset, encouraging the adoption and use of AI tools for improved workflows and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in Business Analysis, working on ERP software specifically accounting and work management (or relevant education).
  • Exemplary customer service skills and willingness to be in a client-facing role.
  • Problem-solving skills with the knowledge to support business leaders.
  • Proficient in Office 365.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Must hold a current, valid passport and be legally eligible to travel internationally (US, Canada, Caribbean).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting or combination of Information technology and Accounting/Finance/Payroll from an accredited institution.
  • Knowledge of WMS and Asset Management.
  • Knowledge of Accounting and Financial Systems.
  • Working Knowledge of SQL.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively manage a superior technology solution for clients in collaboration with colleagues and managers.
  • Provide support to existing and new clients by guiding them through processes, resolving issues, and ensuring successful product utilization.
  • Train users on system setup, administration, and maintenance.
  • Perform Business Analysis, including gap analysis, root cause analysis, facilitation of business process reviews, documentation, and requirements elicitation.
  • Understand client business processes and configure applications based on needs and best practices.
  • Own the user acceptance testing and change management process, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through client testing and training.
  • Create user and handover documentation for support staff.
  • Build client capabilities and identify opportunities for recommending additional products and services.
  • Support Project Managers in managing engagement contracts, identifying bottlenecks, and providing project progress updates.
  • Ensure timely delivery of services and key project milestones, along with efficient resource utilization.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to R&D and operational groups by understanding market trends, client needs, and business practices to ensure product success and incorporate industry best practices.
