About The Position

This role supports the design, development, and implementation of CAT Power Systems products and related equipment by reviewing designs and installations for operational reliability, compliance, and quality. It provides technical and engineering support throughout the sales cycle, including troubleshooting engines, generators, and related components. The position also collaborates with vendors, customers, and internal teams to enhance product performance and ensure regulatory compliance. The incumbent in this position is expected to model the following practices daily: 1) Demonstrate alignment with the company's mission and core business values; 2) Collaborate with key internal/external resources; 3) Participate in ongoing self-development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of study required, or 4 years of experience with CAT Power Systems Products.
  • Experience with CAT Power Systems Products preferred.
  • CAT IPSD A&I Certification required within 6 months of employment.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

  • Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission.
  • Reviews project specs, vendor submittals, and system designs to ensure compliance with customer requirements, CAT A&I guidelines, and quality standards.
  • Acts as a liaison between internal teams, vendors, and clients, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Identifies project risks and develops mitigation strategies to minimize exposure and maintain compliance.
  • Provides technical support during site evaluations, installation, testing, and validation.
  • Maintains project documentation, including technical specifications, reports, and design reviews.
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities to enhance project management efficiency.
  • Supports customers and stakeholders with technical resources, guidance, and troubleshooting.
  • Travels to customer sites as needed for inspections, testing, audits, and compliance checks.
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Performs other duties assigned.
