The Principal Applications Analyst position is responsible for providing community-division application support for the MGB Community Division Medical Group and Community Physician Practices. The Principal Applications Analyst leads localized design, build, testing, implementation, and ongoing support of clinical and specialty systems while partnering with cross-functional Digital and operational teams to ensure solutions meet clinical, operational, security, and regulatory requirements. A major responsibility of the position is evaluating locally deployed and legacy applications, identifying opportunities to standardize, and planning and executing migrations to strategic enterprise solutions, including data translation, interface impacts, cutover planning, and historical archiving. Applications supported may include but are not limited to Radiology/Cardiology imaging platforms (PACS/CPACS), Vocera, MUSE, Provation, RTLS, and other clinical systems. The position serves as a subject-matter authority, providing guidance to peers and stakeholders to drive reliable performance, adoption, and continuous improvement. Responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining applications and specialty systems, such as PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems), RIS (Radiology Information Systems), and other platforms. Ensures these systems meet clinical and operational design requirements while maintaining regulatory compliance and optimal performance. Provides guidance and direction to peers on the team or to other סטaff as a subject-matter authority.
