About The Position

The Revenue Cycle Application Analyst I is primarily responsible for providing end users with fundamental technical support for specific Epic applications. This individual may coordinate, develop, train, and/or provide input in training design and development. This role serves as the central point of communication for an assigned set of users and coordinates all activities on behalf of the IS organization. They assist with the analysis, recommendations for corrective actions, and resolution of problems within software applications, and provide support for normal maintenance of upgrades and system maintenance. The role involves responding to help desk tickets and end-user requests, including being on-call. Responsibilities include creating and executing test scripts for new system builds, providing go-live and upgrade support, and ongoing application support. This position implements system updates and changes, communicates these changes to super users and end users, and continuously improves the impact of training. The analyst also serves as a liaison between end users, subject matter experts, and the vendor implementation team. Key attributes include the ability to work well in team environments, functional knowledge of the associated application (preferred), demonstrated customer-oriented service excellence principles, and the ability to understand end-user workflow and own the technical components of that workflow. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who can identify and resolve issues, advance personal knowledge, and possesses excellent interpersonal communication skills. They should be a quick learner of software and information technology, motivated to learn new applications, and proficient with word processing, spreadsheet, and email software.
