About The Position

This position is responsible for standard level work supporting information technology application(s) through planning, designing, implementing, maintaining, and providing ongoing optimization and support. (e.g., electronic health records, registration, scheduling, billing and collections, lab and pathology, radiology, picture archiving and communications (PACS), cardiovascular, pharmacy, home care, long term care, population health, consumer and patient facing technologies, enterprise resource planning, workforce scheduling, time and attendance, customer relationship management) The Staff Application Analyst provides technical support, configuration, maintenance, and lifecycle management for assigned healthcare applications and related technologies, including selection, implementation, support, optimization, and decommissioning. This role gathers and translates business and technical requirements into system solutions, supports application workflows, and manages small to mid-sized projects. The analyst works independently with minimal supervision and maintains required certifications, including Epic, as applicable.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools including Excel
  • Strong application, system analysis, and business process knowledge
  • Ability to document requirements and determine appropriate solutions
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience, or active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree with four years of related experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain required Epic application certifications
  • Ability to operate computers and related IT equipment using hands and fingers
  • Ability to see and read computer monitors and documentation
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods while performing work

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare, business, or a related field.
  • Additional relevant experience may substitute for education with supervisory and HR approval

Responsibilities

  • Provides application support through analysis, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Translates business and technical requirements into system configuration and solutions
  • Configures, tests, implements, maintains, and monitors applications and workflows
  • Documents and recommends workflow and system design improvements
  • Partners with vendors and stakeholders to support integrations and third‑party systems
  • Manages small to mid-size projects and related deliverables
  • Follows testing, documentation, change management, and governance standards
  • Supports reporting needs, training materials, and knowledge resources
  • Participates in on-call, command center, and team activities as required
