Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Epic Ambulatory workflows and functionality
  • Epic Ambulatory Certification (Required)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience working in a healthcare or clinical environment preferred
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems, population health, and public health concepts is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare IT, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare applications, preferably Epic Ambulatory
  • Experience with system implementations, upgrades, or optimizations preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary support contact for Epic Ambulatory applications, ensuring timely resolution of issues and a seamless end-user experience
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application and system issues, including error queue management
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and testing, including build, validation, and go-live support
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and implement system enhancements
  • Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and recommend best practice solutions
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and system optimization initiatives
  • Provide end-user support, training, and documentation as needed
  • Participate in on-call support rotation, as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
