About The Position
We’re working with a growing appliance repair company in the Boston market that’s looking to add an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely knows their trade, enjoys solving problems, takes pride in doing quality work, and wants to be part of a company that values professionalism without all the corporate nonsense. This role is ideal for a technician who can work independently, communicate well with customers, and handle both the technical and customer-facing side of service calls with confidence. They are looking for someone who wants to be part of a solid team long-term, not just someone bouncing from company to company. The company handles both residential and commercial appliance repair, so there is a good mix of work and technical variety throughout the week.
Requirements
- 10+ years of appliance repair experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic ability
- Experience with residential or commercial appliances required, both is a major plus
- 5+ years of sealed system/refrigeration experience
- EPA Section 608 Certification strongly preferred
- Comfortable reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Strong customer communication and professionalism
- Organized, dependable, and self-motivated
- Comfortable using mobile dispatch/service software in the field
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial appliances
- Troubleshoot refrigerators, ice machines, ovens, ranges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and more
- Handle sealed system repairs and refrigeration work
- Read schematics and wiring diagrams to properly diagnose issues
- Communicate clearly with homeowners and business customers regarding findings and repair options
- Document service notes, parts used, and completed work through mobile software
- Maintain an organized and professional service vehicle
- Deliver high-quality workmanship while representing the company professionally in the field
