About The Position
Tager Appliance Repair is seeking an experienced Appliance Repair Technician to join their growing team. This role offers a full schedule of jobs, Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays. The company handles all customer interactions, allowing the technician to focus solely on repairs. The position offers a commission plus hourly pay structure with uncapped earnings. Requirements
- 2+ years appliance repair experience preferred
- Strong customer communication skills — this is non-negotiable
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Professional attitude and honest work ethic
- Mechanical or technical background considered if no appliance experience
- Knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work
- Skills in high mechanical aptitude
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Work adeptly with repair tools
- Okay with lifting heavy machinery
- Skilled in troubleshooting problems
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair major household appliances including washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, and ranges
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Complete most repairs on the first visit
- Represent Tager with integrity in every home
