About The Position

This role involves the residential delivery and installation of various kitchen and laundry appliances, including dishwashers, refrigerators, over-the-range microwaves, ranges, wall ovens, washers, and dryers. The installer will be responsible for removing old appliances and installing new ones according to service manuals, diagnosing and repairing equipment defects, and documenting all work performed. The position requires adherence to company regulations and safety standards, completion of assigned training, and the ability to perform other duties as requested by management.

Requirements

Willing to submit to background check & drug screening.
Experience with appliance installation.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be capable of removal and installation of components by following the appropriate service manual.
Safely and properly operate and inspect machines to diagnose defects.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair all components of equipment.
Formally document the work done on the equipment.
Complete work assignments and assigned training within allotted time and secure and maintain appropriate licensing.
Maintain good work habits and comply with all safety and company regulations.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
