About The Position

The Aubuchon Company is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Appliance Delivery and Installation Specialist to deliver, install, and set up household and commercial appliances. The role involves safely connecting appliances to water, gas, and electrical systems, testing their functionality and safety, troubleshooting minor issues, and explaining appliance use and maintenance to customers. The specialist maintains a clean, organized work area, follows company policies and safety requirements, and may assist with training and mentoring team members.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in appliance installation, plumbing, electrical work, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of gas, water, and electrical appliance connections.
• Proficiency with installation tools and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces when needed.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle record check if driving is required.
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
• Comfort working in an animal-friendly environment; accommodations are available upon request.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, and set up household and commercial appliances.
• Make safe and secure connections to water, gas, and electrical systems.
• Test installed appliances to confirm proper functionality and safety compliance.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and make necessary installation adjustments.
• Explain appliance use and maintenance to customers.
• Keep the workspace clean and organized, including responsible disposal of packaging materials.
• Follow safety protocols, industry standards, company policies, OSHA regulations, and state-mandated safety procedures.
• Assist in training and mentoring team members as needed.
