About The Position

Varsity Spirit, a Varsity Brands Company, is seeking an Apparel Sales Representative for a full-time, hybrid position based in Mobile, Alabama. This role involves outside sales with activity taking place across a home office, local schools, community events, and in-person client meetings. The representative will manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities within the Mobile County, Alabama territory. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, enjoys one-on-one customer interaction, and thrives in a sales environment, committed to creating memorable experiences and transforming young people into leaders. This position represents Varsity Brands by demonstrating company core values and driving the highest ethical standards.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to grasp new technology and understanding of Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of cheer and dance industry
• Willingness to learn in-depth product construction, technicalities and pricing
• Cultivate an in-home office that is distraction-free
• Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touch points
• Organization and follow through
• Personal Effectiveness/Credibility
• Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycle, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions, with an aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals
• In depth learning & career advancement
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in an administrative support role for at least 2 years

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business education or related field preferred
• Industry Experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan and prospect for territory sales
• Conduct consults and fittings with coaches and their athletes
• Meet & exceed assigned territory sales goals
