About The Position

Varsity Spirit, a Varsity Brands Company, is seeking a full-time Apparel Sales Representative for the East Central Alabama region. This role is a hybrid position involving outside sales, with activity taking place across a home office, local schools, community events, and in-person client meetings. The representative will live within or near the assigned territory (Lee, Russell, Macon, Bullock, and a portion of Montgomery county, Alabama) and travel regularly to manage client relationships and maximize sales opportunities. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, enjoys one-on-one customer interaction, and thrives in a sales environment. They will be responsible for providing personalized solutions, promoting Varsity products through a consultative selling approach, and representing Varsity Brands by upholding company core values.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to grasp new technology and understanding of Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of cheer and dance industry
• Willingness to learn in-depth product construction, technicalities and pricing
• Cultivate an in-home office that is distraction-free
• Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touch points
• Organization and follow through
• Personal Effectiveness/Credibility
• Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycle, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions, with an aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in an administrative support role for at least 2 years

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business education or related field preferred
• Industry Experience preferred
