About The Position

Varsity Spirit, a Varsity Brands Company, is seeking an Apparel Sales Representative for a full-time, hybrid position based in Gainesville, Florida. This role involves outside sales with activity across home office, local schools, community events, and client meetings. The representative will manage local client relationships and maximize sales opportunities within a specific territory including Levy, Gilchrist, Dixie, Alachua, Lafayette, Suwannee, Hamilton, Columbia, Baker, Union & Bradford counties, Florida. The ideal candidate is passionate about fashion, enjoys one-on-one customer interaction, and thrives in a sales environment, committed to creating memorable experiences and transforming young people into leaders. This role is part of the largest, most influential manufacturing brand in the industry, promoting Varsity products through a consultative selling approach and representing Varsity Brands by demonstrating company core values.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Ability to grasp new technology and understanding of Microsoft Suite
• Knowledge of cheer and dance industry
• Willingness to learn in-depth product construction, technicalities and pricing
• Cultivate an in-home office that is distraction-free
• Ensure reliable travel for regular face-to-face touch points
• Organization and follow through
• Personal Effectiveness/Credibility
• Ability to generate leads, forecast sales cycle, anticipate problems, and create effective solutions, with an aspiration to meet and exceed sales goals
• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in an administrative support role for at least 2 years

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business education or related field preferred
• Industry Experience preferred
