Apparel Sales Associate - Part Time
About The Position
The Sales Outfitter performs selling and customer-service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers promptly and in a friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, and providing customers with information, assistance, and direction. The role supports a pleasant and productive shopping experience by demonstrating products, maintaining product knowledge, replenishing and restocking merchandise, maintaining pricing and signage, and assisting with seasonal floor merchandise moves. The associate helps customers make buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. The position follows company policies and procedures and performs other duties as assigned. Work is conducted under general supervision using established procedures, with occasional independent judgment to complete assignments and make recommendations about work procedures, policies, and practices.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change for customers.
- Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and other associates.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
- Ability to operate a computerized Point of Sale register system.
Responsibilities

- Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.
- Demonstrate products to customers.
- Replenish and restock merchandise as required, following merchandising guidelines.
- Maintain product expertise through ongoing product knowledge training.
- Stay informed about advertised sales and maintain pricing and signage.
- Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
- Keep the work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Identify and evaluate customers' needs, recommend products based on that analysis, and promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
