About The Position

This is a seasonal position with the opportunity to earn extra money for the holidays and enjoy an Outfitter Discount. The Sales Outfitter performs various Selling / Customer Service activities, including greeting and acknowledging all customers in a prompt and friendly manner, handling merchandise with care, providing information, assistance, and direction to customers. The role supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience. Responsibilities include demonstrating product, replenishing shelves, remaining a product expert through training, maintaining knowledge of advertised sales and pricing, assisting with seasonal floor merchandise moves, restocking, and keeping the work area clean. The Sales Outfitter provides a legendary experience by identifying and evaluating customer needs, making product recommendations, and promoting programs like CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School education or equivalent experience
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers
Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system

Responsibilities

Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
Handle merchandise with care.
Provide information, assistance, and direction to customers.
Demonstrate product to customers.
Replenish product on shelves as required per Merchandising guidelines.
Remain Product “expert” through ongoing product knowledge training.
Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales; maintain pricing and signing.
Assist with "Seasonal" floor merchandise moves.
Restock merchandise as required.
Keep work area clean, neat and well stocked with supplies.
Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
Identify and evaluate customers' needs.
Make product recommendations based off of customer needs analysis.
Promote programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up.
