About The Position
Part-time APP (NP or PA) opportunity with Carilion Family Medicine at Warm Hearth in Blacksburg. This role involves a team approach with autonomous practice with offsite physician oversight. The hours are variable, Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 5 PM. A minimum of 3 years of experience is required.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Current state Licensed Nurse Practitioner (LNP) license required.
- DEA license required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
- Eligible for prescriptive authority in accordance with State regulations and as authorized by the Virginia Boards of Nursing and Medicine.
- Able to work collaboratively with physicians and other health care providers.
- Demonstrates good written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy required for automated computer systems, including electronic medical records.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
