About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Interventional Cardiology team on a full-time basis. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered cardiovascular care to adult patients, with a focus on patients' pre- and post-interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Cardiologists, Advanced Practitioners, and Nurses.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Massachusetts NP or PA License with prescriptive authority.
- Master’s Degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
- Certification by a national board certifying organization.
- NP/PA first-assist experience in cardiac setting (cath, EP labs).
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a cardiac catheterization lab setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in Cardiovascular care, specifically interventional cardiology.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive Cardiovascular assessments and risk evaluations.
- Diagnose & manage a broad range of CV conditions, including: Coronary Artery Disease, Hypertension & Dyslipidemia, Valvular Disease, Arrhythmia & Heart Failure.
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans.
- Coordinate care with Primary Care and subspecialty referrals.
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
- Assist with team in-basket management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure clinical compliance.
