About The Position

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is expanding its Neurology services and seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their hospital-employed team. This role will contribute to growing and accelerating the neurology program, which utilizes cutting-edge approaches to treat a variety of neurological disorders. The APP will work within a patient care team that includes two physicians and three other APPs. The position offers a weekday schedule with protected administrative time and low-volume call. FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, not-for-profit healthcare network based in Pinehurst, NC, serving 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas. Requirements

Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant program and have NCCPA certification (for PAs).
Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner Education program and have national certification (for NPs).
Motivated, self-directed, with a stable work history and a genuine interest in neurology.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, and discretion in decision making.
Clean background.
NC license.
NC DEA.
AHA BLS certification.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care within the neurology service line.
Utilize innovative approaches to treat disorders such as headaches, stroke, seizures, neuromuscular, and sleep disorders.
Collaborate with a patient care team including physicians and other APPs.
