About The Position
HealthTrust is seeking an APP for Hospital Medicine at HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville, FL. This is a Locum Tenens position to cover a full-time resignation. The need is for August and September, with a preference for ASAP start. The schedule involves blocks of 3-5 days open, with a week-on/week-off rotation. There is no call involved. The patient population is primarily elderly, with low to medium acuity. The hospital has 45 beds and a census of 25-35 patients. Daily admissions are around 10, with approximately 2 consults per day. The support staff is well-staffed. Shift times are 6a-3p. The APP will round on approximately 10-12 patients per day and will not round in the ICU. Procedures and vent management are not required.
Requirements
- Licensed APP
- Hospitalist medicine experience preferred
- Ability to start as soon as possible
- Availability for August and September
